Jeg bruker studio 9 til videoredigering. Som oftest lager jeg dvd filmer. Men hvilken "innstilling" skal jeg bruke for å feks legge filmen inn på youtube el.l.?
Mulighetene er AVI, MPEG, STREAM, SHARE og DISK.
HVa gir best mulig kvalitet på minst mulig fil?

edit: glemte å si at MPEG eller Quicktime er de to mest brukte formatene, AVI er bra men det er ikke alle som kan se AVI filer uten videre, de fleste klarer MPEG eller .MOV (QuickTime) uten å måtte laste ned ekstra drivere eller kodekser.
Det er vel heller sjeldent at folk kan spille av Quicktime uten å installere programvare fra Apple, eller enda bedre en skikkelig videoavspiller som VLC.
Men har lite å si for youtube, da de baserer seg på en flash-basert nettspiller som ikke krever noe av maskinen, bortsett fra flash installert (som de fleste har)
We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube.
Jeg lager som regel videoen ferdig i Studio9 selv og lagrer i "fullformat" - dvs uten komprimering. Deretter laster jeg inn sekvensen i Windows MovieMaker (inkl. i XP) og komprimerer den der. Grunnen til det er at i WMM kan jeg definere akkurat hvor mange MB filmen skal ende opp med. 2MB/min synes jeg er akseptabelt. Format er .wmv som de aller fleste ikke har noen problemer med.
