Jan Reichard has combined the resilience of EPP with the beauty of an oracovered open structure...
Introducing the Klaun:
The fuselage, wing leading edge (D-box) and wing tip/trailing edge are produced from EPP to give resilience and endurance.
The wing aft of the spar is an open balsa cnc cut structure delicately covered in colourful Oracover.
The tail feathers are produced as a strong and light open structure, again delicately covered in matching coloured Ora cover.
All in all, a beautiful eliptical winged aerobat very suitable for the new small outrunners from MP Jet.
A span of 850 mm and a flying weight of 420 gram give a very transportable small model which will take the punishment that aerobatic training implies.
The first batch is expected with Griffin very shortly -
