Both motors are recommended by Jan Reichard as alternatives for the XL3200 and the Mega motor for the Elipsoid. The motors are very similar in performance and either can be provided with a package with either saillplane. The Mega motor is probably slightly cheaper. My personal preference would be for the Jeti Phasor motor as I sense it has a slight performance advantage and better quality particularly when partnered with a Jeti ESC.
To qualify my earlier statement about eliptical planform wings a little further:
An eliptic wing is generally accepted by aerodynamicists as providing the optimal spanwise lift distribution (Reginald Mitchell's Spitfire for example) - you may have noticed that modern full size sailplane designers attempt to approximate an elipse by providing several spanwise breaks along the L.E. whilst still designing a wing which can be produced in a ruled form.
However perhaps Reichard's general preference for Mega motors is as mundane as the fact that both companies are based in Brno Cz....
