It is almost here, the most advanced balancing system yet.

The V-Balance system is a charge-through balancer that will work with all Lithium-Polymer chargers and FlightPower packs by connecting between the charger and the battery.
This system features LED's for each cell to indicate balancing activity, a battery capacity fuel gauge and the capability of handling charge currents of upto 10A for 2C charging of large FlightPower packs.

V-Balance boasts many more features including individual cell analysis and discharge features.

The V-Balance is compatible with all earlier FlightPower packs by using special harness leads and adaptors.

The New Formula EVO 20 packs are now delivered with a new balancing connector compatible with the new V-Balance System so Griffin will be issuing free adaptor cables to allow the V-Balance System to be used on the old balancing contacts and to allow the New Formula packs to be balanced with existing Stay Balance Modules.

It is expected that the new V-Balance System and adaptor cables will be available within one to two weeks.

The long awaited launch of the V-Balance system has commenced, For those of you that don’t know the V-Balance system is a charge-through balancer that will work with all Lithium-Polymer chargers and FlightPower packs by connecting between the charger and the battery. It provides Intelligent Hi-Rate Equalising / Balancing for 2-6s packs.

One major advantage the V-Balancer offers over existing ‘smart’ balancers is the highly accurate calibration process employed during the manufacturing stages to make sure all balancers are identical.

The V-Balance has the capability of handling charge currents of up to 10A for 2C charging of large FlightPower packs, it features a LED for each cell to indicate balancing activity and a unique battery capacity fuel gauge. It has many more features including individual cell analysis and discharge features.

The V-Balance system now makes it possible to use two of the V-Balance units together to accurately balance charge large 10s and 12s packs.

A range of Harness / adapter leads will allow the V-Balance unit to work with all current and future FlightPower packs. In time there will also be harness leads to allow for compatibility with a variety of different manufacturers' packs. During an initial introductory phase, Griffin will be providing the necessary harness leads free of charge and for:

1. Adaptor harness V-balance to old style pack balance plugs (provided the packs were purchased from Griffin).

2. Adaptor harness leads V-balance to new EVO 20 packs.
