Har nå brukt et par timer på å skrive en klage. Noen som gidder å ta seg litt tid til å korrigere mine dårlige engelsk kunskapene:
Hello. I did buy a Kontronik JAZZ 80-6-18 speed controller from you and believe that it came with a manufacture fault.
Order: 14974, 1./20/2008
The first thing I did after I have received it was to connect it to the Kontronik program card and a 4,8V battery and tried too program it. The light diode from the controller and program card did both work as they should. After I solder the deans connector and banana plugs, I installed the ESC to my chopper and connected it to the receiver. When I connected a 6S Lipo battery pack, I sow smoke began to rise from the ESC and quickly disconnected the battery pack. After a closer look it’s seems that the JAZZ speed controller have taken permanent damaged. Surprise over it I started to ask myself why this have happened. Could it be a production fault? Have I changed the polarity when soldering? Or did something else in my helicopter cause the error?
After a second closer lock of the polarity to the ESC and battery booth seems right. On the JAZZ ESC you can see that the burn damaged is on the motor side. Sow I started to suspect that I had a motor error to find. I have now spend most of my weekend testing the Align XL600 motor with the receiver (Spektrum AR7000), servos (3 x Hitec HS6975) and gyro (GY611 & 9256) connected together.
I have used a 18A brushless ESC and a 60A brushless ESC during testing with any problems. I did only use a 3S Lipo under the test because none of the ESC could handle a 6S pack Lipo. I have also measure between the motor cables with out finding a error.
Do think it matters, But the Jazz controller owner manual does not tell the motor cables (red, green and blue) polarity. I connected the coolers red with red, blue with blue, and green with black(Align motor).
I hade also the Align 6A BEC connected to the receiver battery connection socket, but the 2S lipo pack was NOT connected to the Align BEC. I hade also the Align BEC connected under the motor test with out problems.
I have now read the owner manual several times and can not find any thing that tells me that I have done something wrong to damage the JAZZ speed controller.
Kontronik have a 24 months warranty, sow I expect a solution to replace my new, but damage Jazz controller.
Best regards
Walter Fischer
