Har intervjuet her: http://www.robbe.de/content_global/p...Telemetrie.pdf

Her er iallefall teksten!

Slow and Steady. Actually, the robbe T18MZ, the new flagship of the family of channels, already in April
Announced 2011th But then came the tsunami in Japan - and had twice postponed the date
be. In December 2011 but it has finally come. Frank Schwartz, head of marketing department
robbe, took some time and has talked to about the Aviator model and the comprehensive test T18MZ telemetry system.

Model Aviator: Late but not too late? Why
robbe now comes with its own telemetry system
                        the market?
Frank Schwartz: Because we are a mature system with
continue to focus on the absolute first-rate transmission technique of "funct distance to model"
                        have developed.
Model Aviator: The heart of the comprehensive test system
the T18MZ will be, one can say that?
Frank Schwartz: The T18MZ is the new flagship of the
robbe / Futaba radio control system. There is no comparable equipment in this station is not on the market.
Gradually, other robbe / Futaba transmitters
equipped with a comprehensive test system. As the heart
I would really new telemetry receiver
R7008SB call. It is available in two variants:
First, in one version, the control signals at all
Market FASST transmitter and receives telemetry data to peripheral devices and output in a
second version as a new comprehensive test receiver for
Systems such as the new T18MZ with integrated telemetry

Model Aviator: The T18MZ is not cheap
be. What will it cost? And how do you justify this price?
Frank Schwartz: The recommended retail price is
2549, - Euros. For this you get a station with
18 control and 32 signal channels and to make an
convenient software to create models of all categories
extensively set. This software is very easy
operated via a color touch screen. All
Setting parameters of a mixer can be displayed on
displayed a glance. The operation is done by all
gentle tapping. The conversion speed is perfect: very fast and direct.
Model Aviator: Why has the built-in camera
                        actually only 0.3-megapixels?
Frank Schwartz: The built-in camera is used, the
record your own model and a visualization model in addition to the names in the model memory of the transmitter
store, a great feature for distinguishing and off -
choice of memory model, to reach 0.3 megapixels.
                        Model Aviator: Keyword Touch: Faith
That intuitive operation in a future model
                        larger role?
Frank Schwartz: The possibilities of the modern
Provide remote control transmitter today, are very extensive,
become complex and detailed. An intuitive
Operation helps the user, these for its better
                        To use model settings
Model Aviator: The T18MZ was originally
announced in April, now has the date on the
                        Moved in December 2011. Why?

Frank Schwartz: The resulting delays have
the tsunami and its aftermath in Japan caused. Also
when almost nothing more of it in the media
hear, that's life in Japan is still strong in some
affected. The development department of Futaba
was affected by temporary power outages. And also in the Japanese manufacturing industry capacities capacitive been severely restricted. Therefore, the delay
Despite the intense development of partnership with our company.
Aviator model: If a backwards compatibility
                        T18MZ really necessary?
Frank Schwartz: It is assumed that many
Even before a buyer of T18MZ robbe / Futaba system
had. Due to the backward compatibility of this transmitter
it possible to use existing systems and summarizes the recipients of the Futaba S-FHSS. The transmitter
can be set on all three modes.
Model Aviator: Can I convert my old sender summarizes the new telemetry system?
Frank Schwartz: A modification of the FASST transmitter,
so that the telemetry data received at the transmitter
and can be displayed on the display of the transmitter is
not previously provided. We do, however, with the
Telemetry and WIFI box two very good opportunities
on, even with existing broadcasters the advantages of the FASST
robbe / Futaba-telemetry to use without restriction.
The box has a built-in telemetry receiver for
the telemetry data and a separate power supply. So
The box is completely independent of the remote control transmitter
and versatile. The package includes two
Adapter included. Thus it is possible, the box on
Carrying handle of the transmitter or at the base of the unused
Attach to 35-megahertz antenna. The Telemetry Box
can be fixed with a handle. She finds
for example, simply a place in the
Shirt pocket. The robbe / Futaba Telemetry box indicates the
Telemetry data as: Display, sound or
Voice output through earphones and vibrating alert.
Over the USB port it is possible to software updates
                        apply that to the device.
Who owns a smartphone can be using the robbe /
Futaba WIFI box can transmit data wirelessly.
The telemetry data is displayed on the display, audio
and voice output and vibrating alert are also available. To power the WIFI box
this is just the trainer jack on your transmitter
plugged. The app for the iPhone and the Android phone
                        will be available shortly.
Model Aviator: What must I do to my old
Comprehensive model to test telemetry convert?
Frank Schwartz: This is the use of new
Recipient R7008SB necessary. For installation in the model are
then several options: 1 If there is one
Receiver with up to eight commonly connected
Servos in the model, he can go against the new
Receiver to be replaced. Second Are currently more
used as a conventional eight channels, can in the off -
exchange one or two of the new telemetry receiver to
Model can be installed. Here are the first

Receiver channels 1 through 8 and the second from the
Channels 9 through 16 removed. In this case, the first
Be a previous recipient FASST receiver. Third Is
Model a S.BUS cabling is available, the
Recipients are in turn replaced easily. When
new telemetry receivers are at S.BUS output
also up to 18 channels available. 4th About the S.
BUS connector to connect the sensors. So
the model pilot, if he wants to change the telemetry receiver slightly from model to model.
                        Model Aviator: Provides robbe also
                        Conversion service to?
Frank Schwartz: A modification of the FASST receiver
on comprehensive test would be technically very complicated and therefore
not economical. Also, we had tested, whether we
Accessory to the FASST receivers offer, which
only the telemetry transmission takes. This, however, we would have to almost the same price as the
Receiver to offer and is therefore not meaningful.
Model Aviator: What distinguishes the comprehensive test system from other telemetry systems on the market?
Frank Schwartz, comprehensive test used to control
models of a modified FASST transmission system. FASST is a hybrid system that benefits
of FHSS and DSSS and provides a combined result
                        Maximum transmission reliability. A further
great advantage in the robbe / Futaba comprehensive test system see
I was in the wiring: Wiring and the sensors can be connected at any point.
Model Aviator: What sensors are available?
                        What is planned?
Frank Schwartz: The telemetry receiver R7008SB
has been virtually free three sensors on board: the
Receiver voltage, signal strength and an external
Voltage to 60 volts. With the latter could, for example,
the voltage of the flight battery can be tapped. Controller for
brushless motors have always known voltage,
Current and speed of the engine. In the next
Generation of ROXXY control, this information
delivered to the recipient. And about the same
three-wire cable on it and its control signals
the recipient receives. That is, how far a cable to the
Receiver, plug in ready! So another three sensors
integrated on board. In preparation is a vario, which we
two or three versions are offered. A tank level indicator is realized via a flow meter. Next there will be additional sensors for current,
                        Voltage, temperature, GPS and give.

AVIATOR Model: If it is an open
System? Can third-party sensors for comprehensive testing
                        prompted?
Frank Schwartz, affiliated with us in partnership
Company, we provide the protocol for S.BUS Ver -
coincidence, so is assumed that sensors
involved from the other party to the robbe system
                        can be.
Model Aviator: And what about the Futabakompatiblen receivers in some third-party
                        Program have?
Frank Schwartz: These are indeed loud advertising
The FASST protocol but do not offer security. What
FASST testing and comprehensive accounts works exclusively
with the original robbe / Futaba receivers - and this is
not a slogan, but it can be for example the
used by FASST, intelligent diversity function
                        not supported.
Model Aviator: What distinguishes the S.BUS2?
Frank Schwartz: robbe / Futaba S. BUS means that the simplest wiring, you can imagine. At the
Receiver is connected a power cable, and how
mentioned earlier, distributed via Y-cable. As one would just need. Such cables are offered in different
Configuration. This is all described in detail in our
S.BUS brochure described. If that's not enough,
can solder the wire itself. S.BUS2 means
that both the control signals from the receiver to the
Servos, Gyros, and so on, and the telemetry data
only to the receiver over a three-wire power cord
be sent. That means minimal cabling requirements in the model. For smaller models, the rich
Power cable with 0.35 square millimeter (mm ²) in thickness. At
Four-to six-meter-sailplanes for example, should be the
Cable with 0.5 mm ² use. This we have provided with improved servo plugs, so that continuous currents
transported to 8 amps and 16 amps in the top
can be. We believe that's enough for 90, 95
Percent of all operated models. And for the very
extreme model sizes we do not have the 1-mm ² cable
                        in the range.
